Bio

Vítor has been giving training sessions, since 1996, in the fields of creativity, storytelling, communication, emotional intelligence, leadership and teamwork.

He has given over one thousand courses in Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, United States of América, Brazil, Angola and Mozambique, and has created innovative programmes by applying cinema, theatre and clown techniques to soft skills training.

He is a invited teacher in postgraduate and master's degree programs at the ISPA (University Institute of Psychological, Social and Life Sciences), at the Catholic Business School of Porto and at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Porto (FEUP).

He is partner of High Play Institute, recognized three times by the "Best HR Suppliers" initiative, as the best training and coaching company in Portugal.

After a short experience as a lawyer, Vítor decided to change his life and dedicate it to the world of creativity and personal development. He completed his Master’s degree in ‘Cinema History and Aesthetics’ at the University of Valladolid (Spain), specializing in spectator psychology. He also received training in acting by the Porto-based professional company Seiva Trupe, in clown and improvisation by, among other, artists from the Cirque du Soleil and in acting for cinema by the New York Film Academy.

Vítor has attended various courses on adult psychopedagogy and neuro-linguistic programming and was certified in ‘Emotional Skills and Competencies’ by Paul Ekman International Group (UK), in ‘Storytelling’ by James McSill Lda. (UK), ´The Principles of Persuasion´ by Influence at Work (UK), Creativity by the Disney Institute (USA), ‘Parallel Thinking’ by the Edward de Bono Foundation (Malta), ‘Lateral Thinking’ by Indigo Solutions (UK), ‘Happiness Habits’ by Positive Psychology Training (UK) and ‘Management of Personal Energy’ by The Energy Project (USA).

He has received certification with honours in leadership skills by the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) and is a certified coach by Joseph O’Connor of the ICC – International Coaching Community.

He is the author of the book ‘From Clone to Clown – The art of having (and selling) Creative Ideas’ that has been published by Editora Vida Económica.

Vítor also meditates on a daily basis, enjoys theatre, cinema, photography, to laugh, to know people and to discover the world.
